The Auto Club (a.k.a. Motor Club) is the organization that Keiichi is a member of at the Nekomi Institute of Technology. The club roster changes frequently throughout the series.

The forerunner to the Auto/Motor Club was the NIT Automobile Fan Club, which Chihiro Fujimi took over and reorganized into the contemporary Auto/Motor Club, thus becoming the club's founder and first director in one fell swoop. Later Tamiya and Otaki take up the reins, though Tamiya is the actual director (at least on paper). Eventually, Keiichi becomes the director, but Tamiya and Otaki establish the new High Level Executive Branch, so that they can keep running things the same while they're in grad school (so, Tamiya's now the "Executive Director").

Rivals: Aoshima's hired goons of Diana Lockheed (Los Angeles Institute of Technology) and her boyfriend, David Proter (raced in Daytona 500)

Course: Go kart circuit
Prize: Respect and saving the club budget
Result: Bell and K's times qualified them for the final race
