Emblem Program

An Emblem Program is a type of control program that manages essential functions of the goddesses. As we saw in the Trials of Morisato, when The Three Sisters have to rely on their alternative energy sources, problems can arise. Specifically, Urd can revert to a child and Skuld can grow all the way into an old lady. Being out of sync triggers a recursive loop. Remember that these three are based off the Norns, so they are the overseers of time. Urd, the past, Belldandy, the present, and Skuld, the future. This is why Urd went back, Skuld went forward and nothing happened to Bell.
