In the previous episode, Belldandy was shocked to find Hild in bed with Keiichi. As the day goes on, everyone is even more distraught to find that both Hild and Keiichi are behaving as if they've been in love for years.
The answer comes when Belldandy finds an old photo from Keiichi's past, with a younger Hild in it. Apparently, Hild has gone back in time, and acquainted herself with Keiichi before he ever met Belldandy.
Knowing this, Belldandy, Skuld and Urd go back in time to try and stop Hild. Each one of them takes on a different guise. Belldandy becomes an 'exchange student' transferring to Keiichi's class. Urd takes on the role of the school nurse, and Skuld ends up posing as a local elementary school student (much to her displeasure...at first that is).
Belldandy tries to get close to Keiichi, but her attempts are thwarted at every turn by Hild. After trying to give Keiichi a note, Belldandy turns to Urd in the nurse's office. Belldandy confides to her sister that she has had no luck, and that it seems dark emotions are filling her heart (a sure sign of her jealousy towards Hild).
Urd arranges to take out Hild after school. Hild prepares for battle with Urd, and sends Keiichi off on his motorscooter. However, he skids off the road at a certain point, and meets face-to-face with Belldandy. Belldandy is about to tell Keiichi her true feelings, when Hild suddenly appears, having taken care of Urd.
Hild tries to force Belldandy's powers to come out, hoping to drive Belldandy to jealousy. It seems that Hild may succeed, until Keiichi breaks the moment, and points out falling snow from the sky. Shortly after this, Keiichi tells Hild that they need to end their relationship, sensing that Hild was never really in love with him to begin with.
After Hild leaves, Keiichi asks Belldandy if she'll go to the Museum with him. She happily replies she will in 5 years, and then disappears.
Back in the present, things are back to normal. And as she said, Belldandy and Keiichi go to the local museum. It is there that Belldandy finds herself staring at a picture of a snow-covered landscape. Keiichi notes her expression, and offers to take her back to his hometown, which she happily agrees to.
