As we return to Whirlwind, Keiichi is back from the license bureau, or where ever he ended up going, and they are closing up shop. Everyone wishes each other a good night and Chihiro has final words for K, ordering him to tell Bell that he loves her. After they drive off, Chihiro smiles and thinks longingly of when was the last time someone said those words to her. The drive home is torture for Keiichi. He sees "love" everywhere and he just can't say it. Upon arriving home, K laments his failure and is then grabbed, er, greeted by Peorth for a "practice" session. She becomes "the eye of the tiger" for K, and whips his "I love you" into heavyweight shape. Boy, it sure wouldn't look good if say, Bell, walked in on this "training"...

• It's kinda interesting that K would say that "I can't be someone I'm not", in reference to he can't tell Bell he loves her. Draw your own conclusions about that, but I direct you to Chapter 59 (Sorrow, Fear Not) and correlate that statement to how he felt about Kota and how loss hurt him. Peorth talks to him about a limiter he has on his heart, because of the weight he places on the word "love". He's afraid of getting burned, hurt, whatever you wanna call it.
