The episode starts with Keiichi and Belldandy at the university motorbike shed, good old Keiichi has accidently forgotten his books and Bell happily offers to get them for him. Before he can say another word she uses the motorbikes rear-view mirror and warps back to the temple. Keiichi is left stunned.
Later while still waiting for Belldandy to return, Keiichi is sitting on a seat, numerous people walk past and make the comment that Belldandy has dumped Keiichi since he's sitting all on his own. To make matters worse Tamiya and Otaki turn up and start to talk to Keiichi thinking he's done something wrong to Belldandy. They get it into their minds that Keiichi has got Belldandy pregnant and decided to choose a name for their child. The two of them rush off dicussing names.
Not that things could go much worse, Sayoko turns up and sees Keiichi looking glum, she also assumes that he's done something wrong to Belldandy. Keiichi explains that Bell has gone to grab his books for him from 'home', Sayoko asks if he means his home, in which Keiichi replies, "...well ours actually."
Seconds later we see the surrounding people rining on their mobiles with this 'new' fact that Keiichi and Bell are living together. (Which is weird since they knew that in the previous episode)
Sayoko then questions Keiichi on where their relationship is at, which then gets the frank grading of 'Kindergarden Level' (which is used a few times in the series). Keiichi starts to think about it and realises that he does like Belldandy and would like to step their relationship up the next level (...no comment on that).
Belldandy then returns and we next see the pair of them in a mechanics lesson about engines, Keiichi is day dreaming about Bell. Meanwhile the lecturer has decided that Keiichi shall be the one to answer his question (Belldandy tugs his shirt to warn him) but Keiichi still half daydreaming blurts out "I love her". The professor laughs and replies, "Yup cylinder heads do it for me too". Keiichi is embarrased as hell.
Later Keiichi sitting down and thinking about what to do, he dreams of going for a walk with Belldandy and telling her his feelings, then of her warming the bed for him... "I don't normally think dirty thoughts". He then thinks that he really does want Belldandy to be his girlfriend and he should have wished that in the first place, but realises he wouldn't do that since love should be natural and not forced. Keiichi then relives the moment he tried to ask Sayoko out, which Belldandy sees as him reliving a sad moment. She tells him that from saddness great happiness can be eventually found.
At home Keiichi is daydreaming again when suddenly the phone rings, it turns out to be Tamiya calling about Keiichi's non-exsistent love child's name.
Keiichi then decides he has to do something, he goes into his room and starts to rumage through some boxes looking for a self-help book, How to get a girlfriend. (For some reason, during this scene he has managed to pull an AK47 out of the boxes and placed it on the floor, not the sort of thing I would have thougth he'd own.)
The book describes that he should try to Kiss, but he thinks aloud its too early for that... just as Belldandy walks past the room and thinks that he wants Kissing Fish for dinner instead, she notices the mess and asks if he was cleaning up and offers to help after dinner. After that she walk off back to the kitchen.
